In addition to recruiting participants for studies in a wide range of more common conditions, GKA also has deep expertise in recruiting patients with rarer diseases. Orphan diseases such as Fabry disease or Gaucher’s disease, present a huge range of challenges. In these conditions incidence can be as a low as 1 in 117,000 people, which means there may only be a few hundred patients spread right across the country. The pool of potential patients can be reduced yet further if the study methodology calls for patients receiving a certain treatment.
Our range of Therapy Area Guides provides a snapshot into the different areas we can cover across varying incidences. Download these guides here.
