Disease areas for patient-focused healthcare market research…

Healthcare market research agency GKA, conducts patient fieldwork in a broad range of therapy areas. GKA has extensive experience in larger disease areas, such as diabetes, asthma and oncology, and the expert team routinely recruits patients with conditions as diverse as haemophilia, HIV/AIDS, rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease, obesity, epilepsy, fibromyalgia and Parkinson’s disease.

In addition to recruiting participants for studies in a wide range of more common conditions, GKA also has deep expertise in recruiting patients with rarer diseases. Orphan diseases such as Fabry disease or Gaucher’s disease, present a huge range of challenges. In these conditions incidence can be as a low as 1 in 117,000 people, which means there may only be a few hundred patients spread right across the country. The pool of potential patients can be reduced yet further if the study methodology calls for patients receiving a certain treatment.

Our range of Therapy Area Guides provides a snapshot into the different areas we can cover across varying incidences. Download these guides here.

Our response to COVID-19GKA continues to operate with some important changes

Although we've all been affected by the COVID-19 outbreak, GKA wants to assure you that our team is fully operational and here to support our valued partners with their medical market research as we all adapt and find new ways to progress forward.

Clearly these are challenging times but, from the most recent research we carried out with our own panel of healthcare professionals, things are beginning to improve with indications being that all forms of medical market research, including face-to-face, will be achievable in the not-too-distant future.

If you’d like the results of that research, or we can support you in any way at the moment, please contact us at quotes@gilliankenny.com. We’re here and ready to help.
