Gillian Kenny Associates was founded by Gillian Kenny in Newnham-on-Severn, Gloucestershire, in the early 1990’s following her relocation to the Forest of Dean from Birmingham. It was in Birmingham that Gillian did her initial training as an interviewer in consumer work but, having moved to a rural location where consumer work was hard to come by, Gillian was quick to recognise a niche market in the medical market research industry.
With a little help from her husband Chris the business was established as a “cottage industry” within the village and, through her commitment to quality and professionalism, along with her drive and a sense of humour, GKA was soon on track to becoming one of the UK’s leading fieldwork agencies.
Sadly Gillian died of metastatic melanoma in 2003, but the company survives and thrives as a testament to her energy and vision.
Here at Gillian Kenny Associates, 25 years on we pride ourselves on continuing the vision and values that Gillian created for the company.
