BHBIA
The BHIBIA has the following key aims:
- To encourage all individuals and organisations engaged in healthcare business intelligence to participate in the Association.
- Training: to provide an educational programme of practical applications and techniques in business intelligence.
- Industry Issues: to provide a forum for the discussion and sharing of ideas to advance and improve business intelligence performance.
- To raise awareness and understanding of issues affecting the industry.
- To promote best practice in business intelligence, emphasising its contribution to industry progress.
- To maintain communication and build relationships with other professional bodies.
EPHMRA
The purpose of EphMRA is to develop and improve standards and techniques in Europe for market research in the field of health and healthcare, and to strengthen the role of the Association in the relevant decision-making processes in order to support its members in their international activities and to create transparency to the general benefit.
PBIRG
The PBIRG is a not-for-profit industry association dedicated to the advancement of global healthcare marketing research, business intelligence, and strategic planning in theory and practice.
AQR
Qualitative research provides often an unparalleled understanding of the motivations behind human behaviour, desires and needs. In the UK, the principal authority on the qualitative research industry is the Association for Qualitative Research (AQR). Founded in the early 1980s, the Association for Qualitative Research is a non-profit organisation.
IQCS
The Interviewer Quality Control Scheme (IQCS) is an independently run scheme, which requires members to adhere to a set of benchmark market research industry standards. These cover the recruitment, training and appraisal of fieldwork staff, and the implementation of various administrative and validation procedures to maintain the quality and accuracy of data collected.
The IQCS standards have been serving the demands of the market research industry since 1978, and are held in high regard by both clients and the research industry, globally. The IQCS Council comprises elected members working in the industry and representing not only the various types of market research fieldwork undertaken, but also clients and various other industry bodies, including the MRS, MRQSA and AURA.
GKA are full members of IQCS and all interviewers are trained to IQCS standards. GKA have been IQCS accredited for 4 years.
